Lex’s 2019 New Years resolutions

I kept beating myself up 2018  because I felt I didn’t accomplish every single goal I had made for myself. Whether it was academically or spiritually I felt dissatisfied. But 2018 was a long year and I forgot so many of the wonderful things that happened to me. I got my whole spring semester paid for just when I was looking at other schools. I made Dean’s list and I joined a book club that introduced me to new genres of books. So with that being said, I would like to list some new goals

2019 Goals and Plans

Launch blog

How: If you are reading this that means I did yay!

Only surrounding  myself  with positivity

How: I am really just going to be around people that support and love me.

Make my own wig

How: Hey it may not seem that serious but if I get this done the world to me when it comes to wigs will be limitless!

Give myself more mental breaks

How: Whether it’s for a couple of hours or maybe a weekend I will start scheduling in time for myself to recuperate mentally.

Get 7 hours of sleep!!

How: I have found I need 6.5-7 hours of sleep every night in order to function. Last semester I was getting about 4-5 hours of sleep and I didn’t find myself any more productive in fact I found myself more sick and tired(duh).

Get more consistent with GOD

How: My relationship with God is of the most utmost value, without him, I wouldn’t be the person I am today and I praise him every day for that. One of the things I want to do this year is to seek a community or small group of people that are willing to bring me closer to my faith.
